The college collects a student fee that is tied to the annual in-county tuition rate. This fee is allocated to the operating budget for technology, instructional supplies, the student activities fund, and the student-building fund. Please refer to the “Paying for College” section of the current college catalog for more information about the amount and allocation of this fee. The technology funds are used to provide timely access to current technology for all students. The instructional funds are used to supply some materials and equipment to classrooms. The student activity funds are allocated to various student organizations such as the student government, student program board, the college newspaper, athletic programs, and the student game room. Finally, the student building funds are used to pay the annual debt service on the student galleria and other building needs. Other specific college fees and course fees are described in the college catalog and schedule of classes, which are published annually. Policy Manual Review/Revision: 03/13/09 |
