Howard Community College does not make monetary contributions to any organizations, with the exception of the following:

  • The Sunshine Account, the purpose of which is to send condolences or good wishes in the form of flowers, plants, fruit baskets, HCCEF gift bricks, or contributions to charities, to friends of the college or college employees.  The sunshine account is funded by auxiliary services.
  • Ads on behalf of the college in publications with organizations with which the college has an educational or business relationship.  The ads purchased must be prudent in cost.
  • Reasonably priced event tickets the college purchases may include a contribution.  The vice presidents must approve all tickets for their area that include a contribution.
