Howard Community College is committed to providing accessible, high-quality education at a reasonable cost to Howard County residents.  As part of the annual budget approval process, the Board of Trustees sets tuition rates and authorizes the administration to establish the necessary instructional, facility, and administrative fees.

In compliance with state law, the Board of Trustees will waive tuition on a space available basis for specific categories of students.  Students qualifying for waivers are obligated to pay all additional college fees.  Information on employee tuition waivers can be found in policy 63.07–Benefits, and procedures 63.07.13–Tuition/Fee Reimbursement and 63.07.14–Tuition Waiver.
