HCC-TV is an educational access channel for Howard County facilitating the cablecasting of all telecourses offered by Howard Community College, creating local original programming with an effort to feature HCC, acquiring quality informational/educational and entertaining programming, providing a community bulletin board highlighting college events, and offering instructional and institutional support for the college.  The television studio and HCC-TV: 

• Provides instructional and institutional support to the college's faculty and staff;
• Facilitates the cablecasted delivery of telecourses to students and provides a replay system to insure student access to distance learning;
• Provides, maintains, and updates a state of the art cable facility to accomplish the core work of a 24 hour/ 7 day schedule;
• Creates quality original programming as an educational/informational venue encompassing community and college interests;
• Creates and provides the community viewership with a monthly schedule;
• Provides the community and college with a community bulletin board; and
• Acquires additional programming of an educational/informational venue with an effort to provide diversity.
