It is expected that students will make satisfactory progress each semester they are enrolled.  At the end of the fall and spring semesters, the progress of each student will be reviewed against the standard of satisfactory progress as stated below.  Financial aid recipients are subject to additional standards of academic progress as required by financial aid regulations.

Satisfactory performance at Howard Community College means:

a.  achieving a minimum semester grade point average (GPA) of 2.0; and
b.  successfully completing at least 50% of the credits attempted each semester.
