Instructional Excellence-10.07.01

Faculty will take a broad and integrated approach toward achieving instructional excellence, which will include:

1.   Outcomes assessment; 
2.Classroom research;
3.Peer review;
4.Teaching assessment projects;
5.Student surveys;
6.Developing adjunct faculty;
7.Revisions of existing courses and programs;
8.New course and program development;
9.Summer grant projects;
10. Graduate study;
11.Performing/exhibitions;
12.Writing articles or books;
13.Practical work in technical fields;
14.Faculty exchanges and other collaborations with the Continuing Education division;
15.Developing learning communities for gifted students and for at-risk populations;
16.Attendance and presentations at workshops and conferences;
17.Research and development of new learning products;
18.Internships or clinical practice;
19.Adapting technology to improve learning;
20.Developing courses for online delivery and other distance learning modes; and
21.  Development of accelerated course delivery modes.
