Arts Collective’s “What Improv Group?!?!” Opens 2013-14 Season with September 27 Performance

Improv troupe returns for three Friday night improv shows featuring its popular, unique brand of improv paired with special guest appearances

(Columbia, Maryland) – Howard Community College’s (HCC) Arts Collective (AC) proudly announces the 2013-14 season of its popular improv troupe, “What Improv Group?!?!” (W.I.G.), beginning with a performance on Friday, September 27, 2013, at 8 p.m. in the college’s Studio Theatre. Additional performances are scheduled for December 13, 2013, and April 4, 2014.

W.I.G.’s primary players include Keith Becraft, Keri Eastridge, Daniel Johnston, Jessica Welch, and Kathleen Williams. Now in its fifth year, W.I.G. promises a unique, wig-wearing take on improv that’s always spontaneous, high on audience participation, and seriously funny. This year, the W.I.G. gang will be joined by special guest artists at each performance, including local actors and improv groups. Special guests will be announced prior to each show on the AC website. Performances are scheduled for Friday nights at 8 p.m.
