Columbia, Maryland — Howard Community College’s (HCC) Counseling and Career Services Office is offering free job search workshops on March 1 and 8, 2013, from 9:30 to 11: 30 a.m. in room 302 of the college’s Rouse Company Foundation (RCF) Student Services Hall. Meetings will focus on job search strategies, writing résumés and cover letters, and interviewing and preparing for HCC’s Job Fair, which will be held on March 15. Students and community members are welcome to attend one or both sessions depending on their needs. Led by professional career counselors, the interactive sessions are ideally suited for individuals who have determined their career goals and are actively searching for jobs.
