Howard Community College’s Arts Collective Announces Summer 2012 Improv Workshop

(Columbia, MD) – This summer, Howard Community College’s (HCC) Arts Collective (AC) will offer a four-session improv workshop led by Susan G. Kramer, AC’s producing artistic director. Participants ages 18 and up are invited to discover improvisation for the very first time or continue their artistic journey by exploring and strengthening improv skills.

The workshop will be held from 7 to 10 p.m. on June 26, June 28, July 3, and July 5. Each session will take place in HCC’s Dance Studio, located in room 115 of the Horowitz Visual and Performing Arts Center (HVPA-115) on the college’s campus.

Admission is $50 and registration is on a first-come, first-served basis, and must be submitted no later than June 22. No auditions are required, but all participants must be able to commit to all four workshops. For registration and additional information, visit
