HCC Hosts Fall Community Festival October 16Released October 9, 2009
Event for students, faculty, staff and community doubles as canned food drive and fundraiser
(Columbia, MD) – Howard Community College (HCC) invites the college community and general public to celebrate the arrival of the fall season at the Fall Festival on October 16, 2009 from noon to 5 p.m. on the HCC campus. Tickets for the event are $15 for a family pack (two adults and two children), $3 for guests age 5 to 15, $5 for HCC students with I.D., and $7 for guests age 16 and up. Activities include face painting, games, food and prizes. “Up,” the blockbuster feature film from Disney-Pixar, will be shown from 3 to 5 p.m. in HCC’s Smith Theatre. Reduced tickets prices are available for those who bring canned goods to donate. Proceeds from the event will go to charity.
