HCC Educational Foundation Announces New Board MemberReleased October 23, 2009
(Columbia, MD) -- Howard Community College Educational Foundation, Inc. (HCCEF) Executive Director Missy Mattey announces the addition of Kenneth Kolb to the HCCEF board of directors.
Kolb, a graduate of The Pennsylvania State University, is vice president of Hunt Valley-based Riparius Construction, Inc. Ken has a diverse background with commercial projects, high and low-rise structures, renovations, non-profit organizations, projects, student housing and design-build projects. As a father of three, he has been active in the Hereford Recreation League, coaching soccer and baseball for the past ten years. Ken has also been an active leader and role model for the Boy Scouts of America for the past eight years.
Ken was a participant of Howard Community College’s (HCC) third commission on the future. He participates in activities for professional organizations including National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), Chesapeake Area Society of Health Care Engineering (CASHE), Urban Land Institute (UCI) and The American Institute of Architects (AIA). Ken is a LEED accredited professional of the U.S. Green Building Council.
