HCC Music Performances Scheduled for October 2008September 22, 2008
(Columbia, MD) – The Howard Community College (HCC) Music Department invites the public to experience the intimate, acoustically-engineered John G. Monteabaro Recital Hall in the Peter and Elizabeth Horowitz Visual and Performing Arts Center with several performances in October 2008.
Unless otherwise noted, general admission is $15, seniors $10, and $5 for students with ID. HCC's Horowitz Center is located on campus at 10901 Little Patuxent Parkway in Columbia, Maryland 21044.

Program includes original compositions by members of the quintet.

Baroque Music and Art Songs Concert
Performers: guest tenor/counter tenor Peter Lee; piano faculty, Wei-Der Huang; music faculty, Yi-Hsin Cindy Lin, Sheng-Tsung Wang, Joan Bob and Benjamin Myers.
Program includes works by baroque and romantic masters such as Purcell, Handel, Vivaldi, Fauré, Brahms, Donaudy and Schubert.
