(Columbia, MD) – The Howard Community College (HCC) Music Department invites the public to experience the intimate, acoustically-engineered John G. Monteabaro Recital Hall in the Peter and Elizabeth Horowitz Visual and Performing Arts Center with several performances in May, 2008.

Unless otherwise noted, general admission is $15, seniors $10, and $5 for students with ID.  HCC's Horowitz Center is located on campus at 10901 Little Patuxent Parkway in Columbia, Maryland 21044.

Octtava Piano Duo Concert
Greenbelt Community Church
The Octtava Piano Duo, featuring pianists and HCC faculty members Wei-Der Huang and Hsien-Ann Meng, perform in this piano four-hand concert.  This will be their 7th annual concert at the Greenbelt Community Church, where Wei-Der Huang is the music director.  Free admission, but donations are welcome.  Call 410-309-0961 for more information.

HCC Spotlight Concert
HCC art faculty and clarinetist Jane Winer will be joined by viola faculty Joan Bob and piano faculty Wei-Der Huang in this concert.  The concert will also feature guest clarinetist William Welty.  The program consists of music by Max Reger and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Clarinet Trio in Eb major.  Free admission.
