Path: HCC Student Government Association, Biology major Calling her an active student is an understatement for Diana Ponce. She founded HCC’s Waterpolo Club, and has been actively involved in HCC's Student Government Association. In spring 2006, Diana won the election to serve as SGA president for the 2006-07 academic year. Off campus, she volunteered at the Baltimore Aquarium as well as at the Marine Animal Rescue Project. Diana did all this while being a full-time student working on a major in biology and a minor in women studies. After leaving HCC, Diana hopes to continue her education at the University of Maryland, College Park or the University of California, San Diego. She looks forward to attending graduate school and pursuing a Ph D. in marine biology. |
