HCC’s needs are identified in its annual Legislative Agenda, which outlines priorities as approved by the college’s Board of Trustees, that support the best interests of HCC students and which must be acted or voted upon by County and/or State elected officials in order to be implemented.  

The college meets regularly with its County and State elected officials to urge continued support of HCC and to relay the many ways that HCC students contribute to the economic viability of Howard County and the State of Maryland.
