This training is required for all new employees.
In additon, all employees are required to complete this training every three years (2014, 2017, 2020 etc.) during the professional development time period. (April 1 - March 31):
Harassment Awareness and Avoidance Training covers: the legal concepts of harassment of all types and what you should do if you feel you are being harassed; understand and learn what harassment is and isn't; learn the different types of harassment and their negative ramifications and learn how to speak up about harassment and where to turn if you are harassed. Please note that the language in this training is very descriptive and may be shocking to some. However, the Violence Against Women Act requires that employees be informed of the definitions of certain criminal offenses.
