MUSICAL THEATRE WORKSHOP - FREE
Thursday, September 9, 2:00 – 3:30pm, Dance Studio, HVPA 110
Instructor: Jenny Male
A fun and free workshop where participants will learn cool, basic jazz combinations as well as receive some great Musical Theatre audition advice touching on resumes, song selections and more! (Interested participants will hear more info about AC’s upcoming auditions for this fall’s Musical Theatre Revue: On Broadway!) All are encouraged to bring prepared songs (a cappella only) and be ready to receive great feedback by the instructor, Jenny Male! No experience necessary – arrive prepared to learn and have fun! AUDITION WORKSHOP SERIES
Saturdays, September 11 – October 9, 12:30 – 2:00pm, HVPA 115
Instructor: Susan G. Kramer
Participants will learn all about the audition experience, getting a leg up on their next auditions! This workshop, led by AC's producing artistic director, Susan G. Kramer, will take place over the course of five consecutive Saturday afternoons, culminating in a showcase with feedback and post- showcase discussion!
Artists will return home practiced in cold readings, with one to two prepared monologues, a resume, and headshots, plus a ton of advice ranging from what to wear, where to find audition opportunities - addressing plays, musicals, dance and improv auditions & more - and everything in between!
Artists from all levels of experience will leave the process with not only the tools to ace their next audition, but with an incredible learning experience under their belts!
Workshop Cost: $25 HCC Students -- $50 General Public -- Open to folks 16 and up!

STAGE COMBAT WORKSHOP - FREE

Learn about unarmed smack-down for the stage! Those with and without experience are invited to attend this free stage combat workshop!
