AC PRODUCTION STAFF BIOS

'ARTS COLLECTIVE PRODUCTION STAFF BIOS:
Susan G. Kramer

SUSAN G. KRAMER (Producing Artistic Director) a Howard Community College Alumnus, is proud to work with an entity that continues to transcend; THE STUDENT ARTS COLLECTIVE, (formerly Student-Alumni Arts @HCC).  Since its inception in 1994, Kramer has been AC’s Producer, Artistic Director, Resident Director, Production/ Marketing/ Company Manager, Webmaster.  Recent ‘Arts Collective projects directed includes THE CHILD BEHIND THE 
CURTAIN (AC's 6th original production), THE FOREIGNER, THE  CRUCIBLE, YOU'RE A GOOD MAN, CHARLIE BROWN and OUR TOWN.  Susan has also directed additional original works developed by AC’s Actors' Studio Works In Progress; LETTERS TO S.A.N.T.A., BEYOND DICK AND JANE, CHEESY SILLY TALES, and THE HUM.  As Producer, additional AC projects include a Dance Company, Musical Theatre Revues, Improv Groups,  as well as AC's Actors' Institute (pograms for teens and pre-teens)!   Recent on-stage work includes AC’s production of NOISES OFF, as Mrs. Clackett, (she also performed in AC’s 2001 production of THE VAGINA MONOLOGUES).  For the past decade Susan has also been known to teach Basic Acting I at HCC.  Kramer performed in HCC's 1st Theatre Outback production in 1992, (TALLEY'S FOLLY, as Sally, directed by Robert Marietta,) and directed its' final production; OUR TOWN.  Susan' roots: Baltimore Community Theater.  First production directed: HARVEY; Halethorpe, Maryland's Ascension Church Youth Group; Kramer was 17.  What drives her: Collaboration in Art, folks who call ‘Arts Collective "Home"... and her daughter, Emma.

CAROL McNEELY (Associate Artistic Director) is tremendously honored to be joining HCC's Student Arts Collective’s Production Team as Associate Artistic Director and Props and Wardrobe Manager.  She has been closely involved with AC for the past two years in a myriad of artistic and administrative capacities: Props Designer, Stage Manager, Performer, and Production Assistant.  Past AC productions include: LETTERS TO S.A.N.T.A., YO’ MAMA’S COOKIN’ IMPROV GROUP, OUR TOWN, LOVE HURTS, OURSPACE, YOU’RE A GOOD MAN, CHARLIE BROWN, and THE CRUCIBLE, not to mention several AC Summer Actors’ Institute productions such as ALICE IN WONDERLAND, PETER PAN, and TWELFTH NIGHT.  Welcome, Carol!

Eric Moore

ERIC MOORE (Master Electrician) is currently resident Master Electrician for HCC's Horowitz Center.  Current ‘Arts Collective light design work includes Actors’ Institute productions of TWELFTH NIGHT, LOVE HURTS and OUR TOWN.  Most recent AC work as Master Electrician includes THE CRUCIBLE, YOU’RE A GOOD MAN, CHARLIE BROWN, LETTERS TO S.A.N.T.A., A CHRISTMAS CAROL, NOISES OFF.  Eric has also worked as an electrician at several other theatres including Toby's Dinner Theatre, Olney Theatre Center, and Rep Stage. 
AC's Resident Designers:

JENNY MALE (Resident AC Dialect/Movement Coach HCC's Coordinator of Dance & Musical Theatre) is also the Coordinator of HCC’s Dance and Musical Theatre Departments. Teaching credits at HCC include Basic Acting I, Voice & Diction, Dialects for the Actor, Movement for the Actor, and Improv I.  Jenny directed and choreographed LOVE HURTS (AC’s Stage Combat & Movement Show), OURSPACE (AC’s first Dance Company production), and our production of A CHRISTMAS CAROL.  Additional AC directing credits include YO’ MAMA’S COOKIN’, AC’s improv group (for the past four seasons), as well as AC’s Summer Actors’ Institute teen productions of PETER PAN and THE HOBBIT, and TWELFTH NIGHT.  AC featured her work in last season’s production of YOU’RE A GOOD MAN, CHARLIE BROWN as choreographer and A STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE as Violence and Dialect Coach.  In 2002, she graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with an MFA in Theatre Pedagogy with an emphasis in Movement & Choreography.  Jenny is also very proud to serve as the Fight Director and Dance Choreographer for the historical outdoor drama, TECUMSEH, in Ohio.  Current AC projects include “THE BIZ”, AC’s first Musical Theatre Revue, as director and choreographer, and THE FOREIGNER, as violence and dialect coach!

Andrew Haag

ANDREW HAAG, JR. (Resident Lighting Designer) was the Lighting Designer for AC's productions of THE CHILD BEHIND THE CURTAIN, THE CRUCIBLE, A CHRISTMAS CAROL, NOISES OFF and YOU'RE A GOOD MAN CHARLIE BROWN.  Andrew holds a BA from Towson University in Theatre Lighting Design. Andrew is currently the full time Technical Theatre Facuty Memeber at Howard Community College!  He is also the full time Electrician at Everyman Theatre in Baltimore.
