F A L L M U S I C A L : Sondheim’s "A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO THE FORUM" Directed by Susan G. Kramer 3 Weekends, 11/28-12/14 In the Studio Theatre, inside the Horowitz Center “Tragedy Tomorrow, Comedy Tonight!” Inspired by the farces of the ancient Roman playwright Plautus (251–183 BC) — it tells the bawdy story of Pseudolus, the laziest (and funniest) slave in Rome, who possesses only one wish — to win his freedom! When he learns his young charge has fallen for the lovely, pure and very dim next-door neighbor, schemes, chase scenes, singing and dancing, mistaken identity, zany family reunions, and absolute hilarity are set in brisk motion… all atop a two-tiered set and perhaps... a water fountain! Cheer on Pseudolus’ quest for freedom! Don’t miss this laugh-a-minute musical comedy! Make your reservations early! Thursdays at 8:00pm (2nd and 3rd weekends only) Fridays & Saturdays at 8:00pm, Sundays at 3pm Tickets available SOON at Box Office and On-Line $15 General, $12 Senior/Staff, $10 All Students (Includes mature subject matter; children under the age of 9 will not be permitted.)
