O U R T O W N Explore New Hampshire's small town of Grover's Corners in the early 1900's... Where it can appear that little happens... but every moment is filled with greatness. |
OUR TOWN, Thornton Wilder's Pulitzer Prize winning play, is one of the most cherished, hauntingly beautiful plays celebrated in American theatre. This artfully written play revisits a simpler time in American history, life in New Hampshire's small town of Grover's Corners in the early 20th century -- from the cradle to the grave. This tale has taken generations of theatergoers by surprise with its charm, simplicity, unexpected humor, imaginative style, evocatively moving themes, and magical storytelling. |
SAARTS' spin on this classic tale will honor all of those things and more...
during the Weekends of APRIL 28 - MAY 14... One last time, in HCC's THEATRE OUTBACK! |
OUR TOWN contains themes not suitable for children under 10 years of age. |
OUR TOWN marks the last production mounted in HCC's Theatre Outback. SAARTS has performed 28 productions in this black box performance space, and countless other showcases and special events since the Outback opened its doors in 1993. SAARTS will make their new home in the state-of-the-art black box theatre nestled inside the Peter and Elizabeth Horowitz Visual and Performing Arts Center opening fall 2006. |
