ABOUT "THE CHILD BEHIND THE CURTAIN"...
Continuing its proud tradition of bringing innovative and original works to the stage, HCC's Student Arts Collective (AC) will present the not-to-be-missed "The Child Behind the Curtain". This heartwarming family-friendly tale travels through two very different and yet incredibly familiar worlds--the one in which we live (inside our ever-changing, tender universe) and the one inhabited by the Fairy Tales and Legends known to both children and adults worldwide – as an evil witch sets a plan in motion to gain her own, never-before told story. But will her devastation be stopped before the sun disappears from both worlds forever? Theatre-goers of all ages will be enthralled by the often-times hilarious antics of the tales they know and love, and find themselves breathless as familiar characters encounter new and frightening obstacles – obstacles that audience members will help to overcome!
ABOUT AC PRODUCTIONS/ ENTITIES:
The Student Arts Collective, formerly known as Student Alumni Arts, is wrapping up its 13th season mounting its 37th major production with “The Child Behind The Curtain” -- AC's 6th original production. Most recent AC original projects include "Letters to S.A.N.T.A.," "Cheesy Silly Tales" and "Beyond Dick and Jane." AC's productions often include artists from the community of all ages and experiences… from students to professionals -- and all in between. AC’s name change was inspired by the additional eclectic entities recently included, such as Dance Company Concerts, Musical Theatre Revues, Original Works, Improv Groups, Open-Mic’s, Summer Programs for Teens and Pre-Teens and more.
