HCC Student-Alumni Arts improv group enters its 8th season
YO’ MAMA’S COOKIN' Improv Group Cooks up an 8th Season February 16 at HCC Smith Theatre
(Columbia, Maryland) – Yo’ Mama’s Cookin’, the Student-Alumni Arts improvisation group of Howard Community College (HCC), continues serving up live, hot new sketches and on-the-spot improv on Friday evenings this spring at 8 p.m. in HCC’s Smith Theatre on February 16 and in HCC’s New Black Box Theatre: March 2, 30, April 13, and May 18. Tickets for all performances are $8.00 at the door - on sale one hour prior to showtime.
Jenny Male directs Yo' Mama's Cookin' 2007 new cast members including HCC students and alumni: Mick S. Adams, Laura Blasi, Kristen Burke, Lindsay Hall, Melissa Ivester, Gavin Shown, Ludachris Sisson, Danny Townsend, and Mark Webb. Also on YMC’s production staff: Madison Bahr (Stage Manager), Christopher D. Sisson (Sound Designer), and Jeffrey S. Klima (Sound and Lighting Technician).
YMC (Yo' Mama's Cookin') played to sold out houses during their 2006 season in HCC's Theatre Outback. Back by popular demand, this group continues to push the envelope of impov via a mix of favorite games and new formats. YMC serves up a fresh new menu this spring.
