Dancers from the Howard Community College Student Dance Company groove soulfully to wailing saxophones, hop wittily to boogie woogie, and leap into each other’s arms with exuberant delight to gutsy vocals in this original work by choreographer Renée Brozic Barger.
Sunshine in Blue offers the audience sensory connections to community, spirituality, and ritual through a unique modern dance movement vocabulary with influences of jazz, club/hiphop, social dance and ballet.
RECOMMENDED FOR FOLKS 9 & UP.
