Arts Collective brings passion to the stage October 7th!  Keith Tittermary will tickle the ivories for wildly gifted performers as they croon and belt their way through Broadway's most moving and passionate musical theatre hits!

AUDITIONS:  WEDNESDAY, SEPT 7, 7-10PM IN HCC'S SMITH THEATRE
AUDITION APPOINTMENT INFORMATION:  2 OPTIONS

OPTION #1:  Schedule a half-hour appointment in advance - sign up early!  
7 to 8 performers will be scheduled every half-hour (ex. 7:30-8pm, 8-8:30pm, etc.). See "UPDATE" directly above.

- IMPORTANT: Note of the Day & Time when signing up online.  (With this new online system, AC will only contact you if there is a problem. No confirmations or reminders will be emailed.)
- UPDATE: The 7-7:30pm timeslot is full! Plenty of spots avail. from 7:30-10pm. (8/29/11)

OPTION #2:  Stop by the night of the audition...
Folks are welcome to audition without an appointment, however, those who wish to be considered must arrive prepared (per the info provided here), as well as be prepared to wait. All spots may be filled, but we’ll do our best to fit you in. Signing up in advance is recommended.

BASIC AUDITION INFO... to get you started:

- OPEN AUDITONS: All are invited!  Students, Alumni, Guest Artists - ages 18 and up.

- CAST INFO:  Approximately 12 to 16 performers (ages 18 and up).

- ACCOMPANIMENT provided by Keith Tittermary - on piano.

- HOW & WHAT TO PREPARE:
     One or Two contrasting pieces, 16 bars** from a musical, (up-tempo and ballad, etc.).
     Two pieces are preferred. (Much more info on the Complete Audition Details!)

     YOUR AUDITION SONG IS THE SONG YOU WILL SING IN THE SHOW!
        * Auditioners must provide sheet music.
        * Choose pieces that move you!  Be creative!
        * Piece(s) must derive from a Broadway Musical.
        * Piece(s) must be memorized.
        * Simple movement, lite choreography/ blocking welcome, but not necessary.

                                 ** 16 bars = one verse or one chorus only.

- WHAT TO WEAR:  Dress in a sophisticated and professional manner (no jeans, teeshirts, shorts or flipflops.  This is a lush event.  Thanks)!

- WHAT TO BRING:  Sheet music, resume, headshot, completed Audition Form and date book/ work schedule.  (More info included on the Complete Audition Details.)

- CALLBACKS:  Monday, September 12, 6-10pm.  By invitaton only.

- REHEARSALS:  One rehearsal is required the week of 10/1 and one "Step-Through" the night-of! (More info included on the Complete Audition Details and Audition Form!)
