Our 2012-2013 Concert Season features an artistically phenominal and musically diverse Guest Artist Series. We are pleased to bring to you Anne Koscielny who will return, by popular demand, in Fall 2012 in a performance of the Tchaikosvsky Piano Concerto No. 1 and in the Spring, for a solo recital; a first appearance of renowned Chamber Musician and Early Music Specialist, Kenneth Slowik in an exquisite harpsichord performance of J. S. Bach’s Goldberg Variations; and the ever popular, in-demand Jazz Trombonist, Jim McFalls in a concert with the HCC Faculty Jazz Ensemble. Along with the concerts, each artist will share their pedagogical insight in a master class.
Our fantastic Faculty Concert Series will present you with a wide spectrum of delightful programs from instrumental and vocal chamber music to beloved jazz-standards of all times. Highlights of this season’s programming includes Stockhausen Mantra, Bartók Contrasts, Anderson-Roe arrangement of the Strauss Blue Danube Fantasy, British Music Hall Gems, and more!
Finally, don’t miss out on sampling our blossoming Student Ensemble and Spotlight Concerts at the end of each semester. So come, and join us in a season of fantastic musical exploration!
