Alex Norris in Concert

Alex Norris will give a concert of straight-ahead jazz music that draws on the influence of the modern jazz greats from the 1950s and 1960s. Norris’ musical influences include Charlie Parker, John Coltrane, Freddie Hubbard, Lee Morgan, and Woody Shaw, among others. He will present a program consisting of jazz standards and some of his own original jazz compositions.

The Fleisher-Jacobson Piano Duo

Duo performances of legendary pianist and conductor Leon Fleisher with internationally renowned pianist Katherine Jacobson have received accolades from music’s most respected critics. Gran Wilson in Concert

Gran Wilson will offer an evening of operatic arias, art song, and American Songbook repertoire highlighting an international career spanning four continents and four decades. From musical theatre to bel canto opera, Wilson will share his favorite selections from a career which took him to a dozen countries and forty states, and ultimately led him to Maryland, where his greatest joy has been teaching.
