Playwright Julia Cho’s brilliantly crafted mystery tells the tale of an elderly widow and former piano teacher, Mrs. K, who has lived by herself in a small town since the death of her husband. She fills her days reminiscing about her late husband, as well as the children who had been her students.

Who says classical music can't be fun? Come and join us for an evening of humorous art songs that will tickle your funny bone. Prepare to snicker, giggle, and possibly guffaw during this imaginative and inventive recital. Works by Grand, Bolcom, Satie, Stolz, Lehar, Glinka and others.
Sublime and Seraphic — The Schubert String Quartet
Come hear a performance of one of the greatest works of chamber music of all time. The String Quintet by Schubert will be presented for your listening pleasure this evening along with two “bonus” string quartets. Join HCC faculty artists, Yoon Nah Cho, Yoon Young Bae, and Benjamin Myers, along with their friends for an unforgettable evening of music for strings!
Day on Earth: David Wasser Solo Piano Recital
Enjoy major works for solo piano by Schubert, Copland and Liszt. "Day on Earth" is "a 1930s modern dance creation of Doris Humphrey, the founder of modern dance. Her dance tells the story of a farm family's life on earth. It is choreographed to Aaron Copland's' "Piano Sonata" which will be performed on the recital. A 1972 video, filmed at The Juilliard School, will be shown before the concert. This 20 minute art film was directed by Jose Limon with dancers from the Martha Graham Company and David Wasser at the piano.
