Table 2 Table is a half-hour program celebrating some of the most popular restaurants in Howard County.
Our premiere episode takes us inside Shanty Grille, which some people consider to be a county landmark. Started thirty-five years ago as Crab Shanty, the restaurant has undergone a massive makeover; not only changing its name but also its menu and its look. Shanty Grille’s owner reveals why he took the risk of redoing his restaurant. Then, we’ll head to the kitchen of the Howard Community College Culinary Institute where Shanty Grille’s Executive Chef will show us how to create one of the restaurant’s signature dishes.
