ATTENTION VIEWERS.  We are preparing to move HCC-TV 71/41 from the first floor of the Administrative building at Howard Community College, to a brand new Television/Media Arts facility located directly below our current location.  We anticipate minimal down-time, between May 17th-23rd.(after Commencement).  We will not be airing programming during this time frame.  Thank you for bearing with us while we prepare and upgrade to our new facility!

Welcome to HCC-TV, the educational access channel located at Howard Community College in Columbia, Maryland. Our mission is to provide the Howard County audience with a schedule of programs that enriches their lives through community connections and the world at large.

As a part of the local educational access cable system, HCC-TV produces three original shows and acquires a vast array of public interest programming. In addition, the staff at HCC-TV maintains and updates a community bulletin board.  Citizens and community groups can publish their events on the community bulletin board by mailing or faxing their press releases, birthdays, and anniversaries three weeks in advance to HCC-TV.

As part of our programming schedule, the station provides the opportunity for distant learners to earn college credit by watching telecourses in the comfort of their homes. The college offers TeleWeb courses. They combine pre-produced telecourse materials and online resources.
