Actors Studio Policies and ProceduresREGISTRATION: Download, complete and submit the appropriate Registration Form provided below or complete the appropriate online Registration Form. As payment in-full is required for registration confirmation, online and faxed registrations will act as a Hold on your student's placement in our program for three business days, until payment is received.
PAYMENTS: Payment in-full is required at the time of registration.
- CHECKS should be made out to Howard Community College.
- CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS will be accepted by mail and phone. (Visa/MasterCard/American Express)
REFUNDS: 50% of each tuition fee is non-refundable;however, refunds on remaining balances may be requested in writing no later than two weeks prior to the beginning of the selected session. No refunds will be offered after that date.
ORIENTATION: A brief Orientation session allows students and their parents to meet the instructors and staff. Orientations are held in HCC's Black Box Theatre (HVPA 120) fifteen minutes prior to the regular start time on the first day of each session.
LUNCH: Students will be supervised during lunchtime from 12pm-1pm. Bag lunches are required for all students. Vending machines are available during class breaks for drinks and snacks; vending machines accept coins and one-dollar bills only.
BEHAVIOR: Students are encouraged to have fun in our summer programs. We also wish to maintain an educational atmosphere. Students who continually disrupt the creative learning process will not be permitted to participate. In such cases, parents will be notified. Students who take medication during the school year are expected to continue their regimen while participating in our programs.

Students must remain with Actors Studio staff until they are signed-out by a designated parent or guardian. Please indicate the names of all adults authorized to pick-up your student on the registration form.
IDs will be checked in our Wind-Down program.
Students providing their own transportation and/or meeting rides at the bus stop must have written permission to leave campus without a designated parent or guardian.
DROP OFF/PICK UP:
- Please drop-off and sign-out your student in the Horowitz Center Lobby. (See Trasportation above)
- LATE PICK UP: Students not picked up within 15 minutes post-class will be escorted to Wind-Down Time. Please see WIND-DOWN & LATE FINES.
- START-UP: Please drop off Start-Up Students to HVPA 140 no earlier than 7:30am.
- WIND-DOWN: Students must be picked up from HVPA 140 by 6:30 pm.
- Late Fines: Parents/Guardians arriving later than 6:30 pm will be charged $5 per 15-minutes. Late fees may be paid by cash or check, made out to HCC.
