Kindermusik®Join your child in Kindermusik®, the world’s leader in music and movement classes. Our licensed educator, Peggy Durbin, will help you nurture and accelerate your child’s total development – because music makes memories . . . and math and reading skills, too.
Summer Kindermusik at the Music Institute
Just like their big brothers and sisters who go to summer camps, our Kindermusik students are able to go to Kindermusik camp. Every Saturday morning, for five Saturdays, join Peggy Durbin at the Children’s Learning Center on the HCC campus for summer Kindermusik. Click here for more information.
Kindermusik® Classes at the Music Institute at HCCVillage: 0 To 18 Months
Musical activities nurture your child’s total development including mental, physical, and emotional. Classes are conducted with a loving caregiver and include singing, finger play, intentional touch, massage, group interactive dances, and baby safe instruments.
Our Time: 18 Months To 3½ Years
This is a great class for you and your child to “do” together. Language and vocal development are fostered through singing, chanting, and finger plays. Movement and use of hoops, balls, and scarves engage your child and develop spatial and body awareness. Simple percussion instruments develop rhythmic competency. Story time, quiet time, and circle time build group dynamics.
