Classes and EnsemblesWe invite you to read about the many classes and ensembles the Music Institute at HCC has to offer. Learning about music in a group environment presents many opportunities to learn from and make music with your fellow students. The facilities and instruments in the Horowitz Center enhance the learning experience even more. Ensembles and classes are formed by the MI office personnel and instructors.

Ensembles
The MI Ensemble Program is truly unique and creative. In conjunction with HCC’s music department, MI students can participate in and perform with HCC’s Ensembles, such as the Jazz Ensemble and the HCC Singers. In addition to these established groups, the MI forms ensembles for our students whenever the interest and need arises. Our instructors coach and play in these ensembles, giving our students an exceptional opportunity to play and learn.
