Gemini Piano Trio Chamber Music Workshop
Continuing their tradition of high-quality music education, the award-winning Gemini Piano Trio, consisting of Drs. Benjamin Myers, Hsiu-Hui Wang, and Sheng-Tsung Wang conduct their four-week coaching workshop for chamber music ensembles. Past participants of the workshop have been accepted to major music conservatories, All State orchestras and ensembles, and have gone on to win international and major state and area competitions.

The Gemini Piano Trio Chamber Music Workshop is open to a limit of ten pre-formed intermediate to advanced level groups preferably with performance-ready repertoire. Depending on the number enrolled, an audition may be held. Other outreach performing opportunities may be offered. Duo/Trio/Quartet/Quintet—Strings, any instrument with piano (may include strings, brass, or woodwinds) Basic Workshop Fee = $260 per person for one group ($240 tuition + $20 Music Institute administrative fee). This includes 4 one-hour coachings and one masterclass for your group given by all members of the Gemini Piano Trio. For those who would like to receive coachings with a second group, an additional discounted workshop fee is applied: $208 ($192 Tuition + $16 Registration fee). All participants are required to participate in both performances and in at least one masterclass. Time permitting, groups may perform in more than one masterclass. Interested groups please contact Dr. Benjamin Myers ASAP at BMyers@howardcc.edu. Screening auditions may be required. Individual instrumentalists who do not have a pre-formed group must contact Dr. Myers by the deadline below or sooner to be put on a wait list to form a possible chamber group.
