Little Patuxent Opera Institute will hold auditions for its Second Annual Workshop (which runs from June 29th – August 2nd, 2009) March 27^th and 28^th in the Monteabaro Recital on the campus of Howard Community College.  The Workshop will include an intensive four week period of lessons, coachings, acting classes, and three performances of a Scenes Program/One act opera, as well as Master Classes with internationally renowned artists.   College credit will also be available to those students who want or need an opera workshop course. The cost of tuition is $800.00; a registration fee of $40.00 is also assessed.  Interested singers should submit a headshot (if available) as well as a resume, to the Little Patuxent Opera Institute at Howard Community College, HVPA 260K, 10901 Little Patuxent Pkwy, Columbia, MD 21044.
