Wellness Program Procedure (63.07.21)College Policy Number/Title:
The college provides a Wellness Program for employees. The goals of the program are to enhance the health and productivity of employees and to reduce and control the college's health care costs, particularly over the long run.
Requirements for participation in the program are a minimum of three hours exercise per week and two well education programs per semester. To be eligible for incentive awards, documentation is required. Exercise and education classes are scheduled at convenient times for employees; however, exercise done outside the college also counts as long as it is recorded and verified.
